I was a professor of philosophy and religion at Silliman University in Dumaguete City, the Philippines and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.  I also taught at McGilvary College of Divinity at Payap University, in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I previously served as Secretary for Theological Concerns for the Christian Conference of Asia (1988-1993) and missionary for the Global Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ (1993-2010).  

I started this blog with a mission to give others a taste of my thoughts and experiences with information about various topics that are near and dear to my heart.
